You pay two things: your MonoChat plan, and Meta’s fee for each WhatsApp message delivered. Both are in US dollars. Taxes are not included.

Meta’s WhatsApp fees in Vietnam
Vietnam has no rate of its own on Meta’s rate card: messages delivered to +84 numbers are charged at the Rest of Asia Pacific rates of the rate card effective 1 October 2026.

Free-form replies inside the 24-hour customer service window. Since October 1, 2026 Meta charges them at the utility/authentication rate, after a free tier of 1,000 a month per business phone number.
Each WhatsApp business phone number gets 1,000 free service messages a month.
People who answer chats in MonoChat.
Meta bills its message fees to you directly, and MonoChat adds no markup. MonoChat’s own price is your plan: Basic is free for 1 user, 1 channel and 1,000 outgoing messages a month; Growth is $120 a month with 2 users and 100,000 outgoing messages, plus $30 for each extra user. Outgoing messages above your plan use one-time message packs. Prices in USD, before tax.
Since October 1, 2026, Meta charges per message for service messages, at the utility/authentication rate of the recipient’s market, and for utility templates sent inside the customer service window. Each business phone number gets 1,000 free service messages a month; service messages have no volume tiers. Conversations started from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad open a free entry point window of up to 7 days. Rates shown are from Meta’s rate card effective October 1, 2026. Meta currently does not deliver marketing templates to US phone numbers, so the North America marketing rate applies to Canada.
Data protection
Messaging rules and Vietnam’s data protection law
Vietnam’s Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 91/2025/QH15) and Decree 356/2025 took effect on 1 January 2026 and replaced Decree 13/2023. Consent has to be verifiable and recorded, never a default. Under Decree 91/2020, advertising messages may only go to people who agreed to receive them beforehand.

- Roles and permissions decide who sees which conversations, customers and reports
- Privacy and consent texts in Vietnamese in your flows and templates

Does MonoChat have an office in Vietnam?
No. Our team works from our headquarters in Dubai Media City and the Dubai AI Campus in DIFC, and serves customers across Asia, Europe and the Gulf, including Vietnam.
Does MonoChat connect Zalo?
Not yet. MonoChat does not connect Zalo Official Accounts or Zalo template messages today. You can answer customers on Facebook Messenger, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Telegram and web chat from one inbox.
How much does MonoChat cost in Vietnam?
MonoChat’s Basic plan is free, and Growth is $120 a month. For WhatsApp, Meta charges its own fee per delivered message: Vietnamese numbers fall under the Rest of Asia Pacific rates, $0.0842 for a marketing message and $0.0113 for a utility message. All prices are in US dollars, and taxes are not included.

Can I send promotional messages to my customers?
Only to people who agreed to receive them beforehand, as Decree 91/2020 requires. Collect consent in a form, a checkout box or a chat, record it in the customer profile, and honour an opt-out straight away. On WhatsApp, Meta also requires an approved template for the first message.
