  3. Confirm and collect what is needed

    Documents, consent or a course fee, all handled in the conversation.

  4. Remind and fill free places

    Reminders before the start, and waitlisted residents get freed places.

Event and course registration on WhatsApp: common questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do residents register for a municipal course on WhatsApp?

They message your official number or tap a course in a carousel message, then fill in a short WhatsApp Flows form. They receive a confirmation with the date, time and venue in the same chat.

Can we limit places and run a waitlist?

Yes. Registrations are checked against capacity in your system. When a course is full, residents join a waitlist and are offered a place when someone cancels.

Can we collect documents or fees for a programme?

Yes. Residents can upload documents and photos in the chat, and for paid courses you can send a payment link through your own payment provider.

How do we tell participants about changes or cancellations?

Send an approved WhatsApp template message to everyone registered for that event, with the new time or venue. Replies come back to your team inbox.

Can residents subscribe to hear about new courses and events?

Yes. Residents opt in by interest or area, and you send the new programme only to those who subscribed. They can stop the updates at any time.
