October 2026

  1. v3.8.30

    New features

    • MonoChat now speaks 15 more languages: Romanian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Persian, Urdu, Pashto, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and Bengali. The whole interface and the emails we send you are translated. Change your language from your profile or the language selector.

  2. v3.8.21

    Improvements

    • The app store is easier to read: the apps we suggest stand out with a Recommended badge, and apps private to you carry a Private badge.
    • You can now filter the store: recommended apps, and when an app was published or last updated. Sorting by update date is there too.
    • App screenshots are no longer cropped by the width of your screen, and an app without an icon shows a placeholder.

  3. v3.8.20

    New features

    • A coupon can now come with conditions: how new the tenant is, how much it has deposited in recent months, or whether it used another coupon recently. When a coupon cannot be used, you are told exactly why.

  4. v3.8.19

    New features

    • The past messages of a channel you have just connected do not fill your session list; the list now tells you when such sessions exist. Show lists them, and the cross closes the notice.

    Improvements

    • The setup panel is shorter: the sector step is gone, and you now use a coupon code from the "I have a coupon code" button on the Check your plan step.

    Fixes

    • Installing a different app from the store marked the setup panel's suggested app as done. The step is now finished only when you install the suggested app.

September 2026

  1. v3.8.18

    New features

    • When your balance cannot cover a new subscription or support plan, you are now taken to payment first. The plan changes once the payment is complete, so changing a plan no longer pushes your balance below zero and stops your service.
    • Bots that come with apps from the store are now switched off when installed and do not answer your customers until you turn them on. Updating an app keeps its bot on or off as you left it.

    Fixes

    • MonoChat API channels were not counted on the channel allowance and balance screens. They are now counted like any other channel and billed from your next renewal; nothing is charged for past periods.

  2. v3.8.17

    New features

    • Our e-mails have been redesigned: cleaner, easier to read and branded.
    • We now let you know by e-mail when something important happens: a welcome e-mail when you sign up, a confirmation when your password changes, a warning at 80% of your monthly message limit and a notice when the limit is reached. We also e-mail you when your balance goes negative, when your service is restricted and when a payment is coming up.
    • Two-factor verification codes now come in separate e-mails for signing in, adding a method and resetting your password, and they show how long the code is actually valid.
    • When the setup panel suggests an app, the step now shows that app's own name, its description and an Install button.

    Fixes

    • The introduction tour on your first visit could open at the same time as the phone number window and leave the screen dimmed. The tour now waits for the window to close and ends only with Next or Skip.
    • An app installed from the setup panel did not appear in the left menu until the page was reloaded, and a removed app left its icon behind. The menu now updates straight away.
    • The tab of an app installed in the same session opened as a blank page. Fixed.
    • The "next step" marker on the setup panel sat on a step further down instead of the one at the top. Fixed.

  3. v3.8.14

    Improvements

    • The setup steps of an app you install now sit at the top of the setup panel, in the same list as the rest. They used to appear below the list, in a box of their own.

    Fixes

    • The lower part of a long screen could not be reached. On screens whose content arrives after the page does — app settings, long forms — the scrollbar never appeared, and a Save button below the fold was unreachable. Fixed.
    • The setup panel read "1 of 8" with seven steps on the screen; the eighth was there but could not be scrolled to. Fixed.
    • App descriptions in the app store arrived as one unformatted block of text with the asterisks showing. They are now shown as written — headings, lists and emphasis.
    • Placeholders in the example addresses on the release notes page were not showing. Fixed.

  4. v3.8.13

    New features

    • A setup panel now greets you in a new workspace. It walks through connecting a channel, inviting a teammate, installing an app, picking a plan and telling us what your business does; it works out by itself which of those you have already done, and puts the next one forward. A step you do not want yet can be set aside with "Not now". Once everything is done the panel takes itself away.
    • On your first visit to a workspace a short tour opens, pointing out what each section of the left menu and the account menu is for. You can start it again whenever you like, from a button on the setup panel.
    • When your balance falls short you no longer have to do two separate things. Buying a plan or an extra package opens the payment step directly, and the purchase happens on its own once the payment goes through. You are charged only what your balance cannot cover rather than the full price — and if your balance is negative, that is covered too.
    • The sector list went from twelve to sixty-five: clinics, tourism, public transport, private schools, wedding and event services, associations, wholesale food, apparel and more. The sector question left the signup form; it is now a step on the setup panel, with a list you can search.
    • An app you install can add its own step to the setup panel and its own note to the tour.

    Improvements

    • When you create a workspace, the timezone select opens on your computer's own timezone. It used to always open on Istanbul.

    Fixes

    • Extra package totals on the balance screen were wrong: a package bought before a plan change dropped out of the total. Extra packages do not expire — they last until they are used up — and the total now says so. Using your packages was never affected; only the number on the screen was wrong.
    • A newly created workspace now opens on its setup panel. It used to open on messages or the dashboard, and the create window stayed open behind it.
    • The update window for an app with no categories opened blank. Fixed.
    • Searching for a sector in the app store by the name shown in the list returned nothing. Fixed.

  5. v3.8.11

    New features

    • OpenRouter is available as an AI provider. One key reaches models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others, without opening an account with each of them. Pick it under Automation > AI Model Clients.
    • On national days and days of remembrance the interface can carry a look made for the day. Which day is marked where is set per country and shown according to your own timezone.
    • The signup forms now have a phone number field. It is optional; if you fill it in, it is what lets us reach you on WhatsApp.

  6. v3.8.10

    New features

    • MonoChat is now available in Indonesian, Vietnamese and German as well. Pick your language from the profile menu — seven languages in total.
    • Emails arrive in those three languages too: account verification, password reset, invitations, contract and billing notices, and the weekly summary.
    • Every language names itself in the language picker. Turkish reads "Türkçe" and German "Deutsch" even when the interface is in Arabic, so you can find your own language without reading the interface language.

    Fixes

    • Signup was failing. Everyone trying to create an account since 3.8.9 hit an error; existing users were unaffected. Fixed.
    • A message you sent from your own phone, synchronized into MonoChat, could start a bot flow as though the customer had written it. It no longer does.

  7. v3.8.9

    New features

    • MonoChat is now available in French and Arabic, alongside English and Turkish. Choose your language from your profile menu. Arabic switches the whole interface to right-to-left.
    • Emails from MonoChat now arrive in your language: account verification, password reset, two-factor codes, invitations, contract and billing notices, and the weekly summary.
    • A weekly summary email arrives every Monday morning in your own timezone, showing conversations opened, conversations that came back, and messages received and sent.
    • Single-use coupons can top up an organization's balance with free credit. A coupon can belong to a campaign, carry an expiry date, and be used only once.
    • After signing in, agents are asked once for a phone number, so an agent writing in on a shared WhatsApp line can be recognised.

    Fixes

    • The role screen showed raw key paths instead of permission names. Every permission now has a name in all four languages.
    • Turkish permission names had been falling back to English since December 2024.
    • Three buttons opened an empty panel: adding an agent from the dashboard widget and from the onboarding checklist, and editing an invoice.
    • The password reset email carried the wrong heading.

  8. v3.8.8

    New features

    • Track WhatsApp user identity and phone mapping so a number change does not mix customer records. CRM profiles show WhatsApp Identity; the chat header shows @username or a masked id when no phone is known; numbers that may now belong to someone else are marked Unverified.
    • Add a WhatsApp contact-info request message and a Contact Info Request button on templates.
    • Show an Edited badge and edit history when a customer edits a WhatsApp message.
    • Refresh bulk messaging with overview, records, reports, and record detail (including the related custom-flow instance).
    • Upgrade an existing custom app to a newer version from an export file.
    • Warn or block downloads of potentially dangerous file types.
    • Show the renewal date on current subscription and support plan details.
    • Enforce caption length limits in media preview according to channel rules.

    Improvements

    • Prevent starting a second bulk chat operation of the same kind (assign, archive, terminate) for a tenant while one is already running.
    • Close a chat session even if its termination message cannot be found.
    • Do not send WhatsApp messages to a number that has been reassigned to another account.
    • Treat empty or invalid condition groups in custom flows as not matching, instead of accidentally passing.
    • Preserve multi-select values in saved bulk message filters.

    Fixes

    • Hide exchange-rate and converted-amount rows on transaction details when there is no currency conversion.
    • Resolve the customer identity only from a customer-typed user payload.
