How the estimate works and which fees apply to a WhatsApp broadcast.

How do I calculate the cost of WhatsApp bulk messaging?

Select the recipient country, then enter how many marketing, utility, authentication and service messages you plan to send each month. The calculator multiplies each volume by the approximate Meta rate for that country and shows the subtotals and the total.

Why does the WhatsApp message price change by country?

Meta prices WhatsApp template messages by the recipient’s country code and by message category, so the same campaign costs a different amount in each market.

Does MonoChat add a fee on top of Meta’s rates?

No. MonoChat does not apply markup on channel provider fees. The figures shown are approximate Meta messaging fees, which are paid directly to Meta.

Are WhatsApp service messages free?

Not any more. Since October 1, 2026, Meta charges service messages per message at the same rate as utility and authentication messages, after the first 1,000 free service messages per business phone number each month. Utility templates sent inside the customer service window are now charged too. The calculator applies this pricing automatically.

What is the difference between Message Packs and provider fees?

MonoChat Message Packs cover outgoing message usage inside MonoChat. WhatsApp and other providers may apply their own conversation or message fees separately. Incoming messages are free in MonoChat.
